10. Forever season 1 (2025)
You’ll always remember your first love. Based on Judy Blume’s 1975 novel of the same name, Forever is a love story set about two Black teens in Los Angeles circa 2018. Lovie Simone plays Keisha Clark, a confident teenager and sensational track star with big dreams past high school. Michael Cooper Jr. plays Justin Edwards, a nerdy teenager who happens to have Division I-level talent on the basketball court.
Keisha lives in Baldwin Hills, while Justin resides in Beverly Hills. These two teens from opposite lives meet by chance and instantly fall in love. Forever is a story about firsts — first love, first kiss, first sexual encounter, etc. It’s a beautiful story about young love and the things we will do for each other at young ages.
9. Mike Birbiglia: The Good Life (2025)
One of the topics teased in the trailer is Birbiglia’s relationship with his father, who recently had a stroke, and how that’s affected his parenting. As Birbiglia said in a statement, ” I try to probe into what’s most painful in order to figure out what’s most funny.” Birbiglia’s unique approach to comedy should move you.
8. The Four Seasons season 1 (2025)
Relationships are hard, especially when they involve lifelong friends. The Four Seasons is Tina Fey’s reimagining of Alan Alda’s 1981 movie of the same name. The show follows three couples — Kate (Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani) — across trips spring, summer, fall, and winter.
On the first trip, Nick reveals to the males that he plans to leave Anne after 25 years of marriage. In a fitting twist of fate, Anne tells the group her plans for a special party to renew her vows to Nick. That’s only the tip of the iceberg in this heartfelt show about the ups and downs of marriage.
7. Dept. Q season 1 (2025)
If you like Slow Horses on Apple TV+, you’ll appreciate Netflix’s Dept. Q and its similar premise of a top detective leading a team of outcasts to solve a case. Based on the book series by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen, Dept. Q stars Matthew Goode as Carl Morck, a Scottish detective who does not work well with others. Morck is still dealing with the aftermath of a tragedy suffered on the job.
Now, Carl must start up Department Q, a cold case unit with eccentric and outlandish detectives. What starts as a PR campaign turns out to be an eye-opening move, as Department Q uncovers dark secrets that lead to shocking discoveries.
6. Ms. Rachel season 1 (2025)
Titled Ms. Rachel, the series will take what worked in the YouTube videos to Netflix, providing parents with excellent content for their “littles.” The four episodes released include Learn to Talk, Baby Learning, Learn to Read, and Hop Little Bunnies. This isn’t the end for Ms. Rachel on Netflix, as more episodes will stream later this year.
5. She the People season 1 (2025)
Tyler Perry’s next series with Netflix is She the People. Terri J. Vaughn stars as Lieutenant Governor candidate Antoinette Dunkerson, a woman running to become Mississippi’s first Black governor. Antoinette wins the election, but the hard part is just beginning. Antoinette must keep her family in check with her newfound power.
Plus, Antoinette finds out that Governor Harper (Robert Craighead) has no intentions of letting her run things how she wants. Part 1 is now streaming, and Part 2 returns on August 14.
4. Raw: May 26, 2025 (2025)
Seth Rollins found the fourth man. Bronson Reed has been added to Rollins’ faction, which consists of Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman. This powerful group plans to dominate Monday Night Raw, starting with Rollins’ win over Sami Zayn and Finn Bálor to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. After the match, CM Punk bested Rollins and delivered the GTS.
Earlier in the night, Penta qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match with a win over Chad Gable and Dragon Lee. Kari Sane picked up an upset victory over Liv Morgan, and Jey Uso stood face-to-face with Gunther before their championship match on June 9.
3. American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden season 1 (2025)
The series features interviews with those involved in the manhunt, including intelligence operatives, soldiers, and former White House officials. It all culminated in May 2011 with the raid of bin Laden’s Pakistani compound.
2. Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders season 1 (2025)
When most people have a cold, fever, or headache, they turn to pain relievers like Tylenol. In September 1982, Tylenol became a killer. Seven people in the Chicago area died after ingesting Tylenol. The ages of the victims ranged from kids in their preteen years to adults in their 30s. The autopsies revealed that the capsules were laced with the poisonous chemical, potassium cyanide.
Unfortunately for America, the Tylenol killings inspired copycat murders in other cities around the country. Who would commit such a heinous crime? Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders seeks to answer that question as it investigates what went wrong and how this could have happened.
1. Sirens (2025)
Get ready for some dark comedy set at a lavish location in Sirens. Based on Molly Smith Metzler’s play, Sirens stars Devon (Meghann Fahy), who travels to a wealthy estate in Port Haven to visit her younger sister Simone (Milly Alcock). Devon wants Simone to come home due to their father’s fading health.
The estate is owned by billionaire Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore) and her husband, Peter (Kevin Bacon). As Devon spends more time on the island, she witnesses weird behavior between Simone and Michaela. Can she snap her out of this trance and bring her home?
